    Aminex made its initial investment in Tanzania in 2002 and has operated in-country for 22 years.

    We have demonstrated an ability to find, appraise and develop fields successfully from initial concept through to production. The Company was instrumental in discovering and pursuing the gas potential of its flagship project in the Ruvuma basin.

    Aminex conducts its operations in Tanzania through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Ndovu Resources Limited with extensive and constructive relationships with local stakeholders including the country’s national oil company, the Tanzania Petroleum Development Corporation (TPDC) and upstream regulator, Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA).

    Aminex, through Ndovu Resources, currently holds interests in three licences in-country:
