- Kiliwani North- (KN-1) was drilled in 2008 and was the most successful exploration well in Tanzania since the 1980s
- KN-1 tested gas at 40 mmcfd and the Kiliwani North field has discovered gas in place of 45 Bcf, Pmean.
- KN-1 is close to the producing Songo-Songo gas field and new gas processing and transportation facilities to be commissioned by end 2014.
- KN-1 is ready to produce gas to market and currently waiting on gas processing and pipeline availability as described above.
